The Wedding by Derek Kosbab (2010)
One night when I was at life drawing class I began to wonder how different life would be if everyone went without clothes. I thought that I might paint a series depicting normal life events such as shopping, gardening, eating dinner with the family, working in an office, going to the football or a funeral, but with everyone nude.
This acrylic sketch was my first attempt: The Wedding. It is painted from the perspective of the wedding official looking past the bride and groom towards the wedding guests. There are no pews or floor coverings or church walls or doors. Even the setting is nude.
